Unveiling Gujarat’s Charm - 7 Days Spectacular FAM Tour!

Dear Travel Enthusiasts,

I trust this blog post reaches you in good spirits, prepared to embark on a virtual journey to the lively state of Gujarat as seen through the lens of our recent familiarization trip. It was an honor for us to participate in this enlightening adventure, and I eagerly anticipate sharing the key moments from our six-night, seven-day exploration with yo

A Foggy Start and Determination: Our adventure began with a foggy morning, making our early departure for the 6 am flight quite challenging. Despite initial setbacks, our third driver came to the rescue, instilling confidence in the group that we would make it to our destination. It was a reminder that every journey comes with its own set of obstacles, but determination can overcome them.

Getting around Delhi's Terminal 2 was a bit tricky, but using the Digiyatra app helped us quickly get through the entrance and save time. Since our corporate booking already included meals and seats, we decided to skip the lounge this time. Though the check-in and security lines were a bit of a challenge, we managed to make it to our flight on time by being patient.

We received a friendly welcome when we arrived, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, attended by Prime Minister Modi, was about to start. This unexpected bonus made our trip more exciting and set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Sharing Rooms and Discovering Ahmedabad: When we entered our rooms to share with a friend, we learned an important tip – it's good to know what your roommate likes. We spent part of the day visiting places like Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram, Hutheesing Jain Temple, and Rudabai Stepwell. Later, we had a buffet dinner. Some people decided to take a break, while others either explored the hotel or joined the lively atmosphere with other conference attendees.

The next day, we went to Kevadia and saw the impressive Statue of Unity. It made us proud, and the day ended with a captivating light and sound show. On the third day, we visited the Valley of Flowers, went on a jungle safari, and enjoyed a lovely cruise on the Narmada River. During dinner, we had a chance to network and connect with more than 40 trade professionals.

We kept on exploring gardens, tent cities, and tribal villages during our journey. We visited cactus and butterfly gardens, Arogya Van, Tent City 1 & 2, and Unity Glow Garden. Each place was special and showed the different and beautiful parts of Gujarat. Our trip ended with a walk in the jungle at Jambughoda, a visit to a tribal village, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Champaner.

We found the International Kite Festival on our way to Ahmedabad. We captured exciting moments from this global celebration. Our trip ended with thanks to Gujarat Tourism and the whole team for organizing this amazing FAM tour, which will help local businesses and tourism.

In summary, Gujarat stands out as an extraordinary destination, boasting a vibrant cultural heritage, welcoming hospitality, and a variety of landscapes. We express our sincere gratitude to Gujarat Tourism for this wonderful opportunity and encourage fellow travel enthusiasts to contemplate Gujarat for their upcoming adventures.
